yeah, HTML is set to "off" so the "a href" command won't work.
Here is a version with the text made into a link. I will try to explain how to do it
Your Link - Desire
Under the subject line, you'll see a button that says "URL". If you put the cursor over the "URL" button you'll see some directions appear under the "Font Colour" "Font Size" switches.
These directions show two ways of coding a link. There is an easier way to do the first version which I will show you too, but I'm going to explain it their way anyway since that might make it easier to understand the second version, which allows you to make the link into whatever text you want - like above where I made the link the word "Desire".
First Version
Put your cursor over the "URL" button and look at the first example they give.
Translated - Click the "URL" button, then put your URL (http web address) to the right of the bit of code that appears, then hit the "URL" button again and it will close the code.
1 - hit "URL" button -- (this opens the code)
2 - then put your web address - http://eroticaudios.com/content/Olivia/ ... Desire.mp3
3 - hit "URL" button again -- (this closes the code)
This will make a basic link with the http address showing.
Simple enough, but there is an even easier way to do a link that way on this system -
Easier Way to do Above
Skip the buttons and just Cut and Paste the URL in where you want it like this -
http://eroticaudios.com/content/Olivia/ ... Desire.mp3
and it will automatically make the URL an active link to that address. It will look as shown - not fancy but works fine. Looks and works the same as when using the buttons in first way they show.
For the next you will have to use the buttons, which is why I explained their non-necessary version of the above.
Second Version
Now that you know how the basics work, this version allows you to put in your own text as the link (called "anchor text") -
This second example they show is how I did the link out of the single word - Desire - as I just did again.
You can put the URL address for your link (http://) inside the first bit of code (within the brackets) that appears when you click the "URL" button, and text of your own choosing where it says "URL text" in the example - I used "Desire". Then you hit the "URL" button a second time to close the code.
1. hit "URL" button -- (this opens the code)
2. in the code that appears, in between "url" and the right bracket add an "=", with no spaces.
3. then put your web address - http://eroticaudios.com/content/Olivia/ ... Desire.mp3 - next to the "=" sign you added, again no spaces.
4. the right bracket should be next to your web address - to the right of it, no spaces.
5. to the right of the right bracket, type whatever word(s) you want to appear as the link - I used "Desire".
6. hit the "URL" button again -- (this closes the code)
If you look at what I wrote and the example they give when you put your cursor on the "URL" button, it should all make sense.
You can test it by hitting "Preview" instead of "Submit". That way you can see how what you are doing will look, while not actually adding it to to board. And you can keep redoing.
The second version obviously looks better. You can do more than a single word for it - whole sentences.
Example - This is the audio -Desire- by Empress Olivia
Hope that makes sense, I'm half asleep.
Goodluck
I hate it when I don't know something and can't find the answer. So I don't mind taking a few mins to type out something that might help someone else. If you already knew most of this or all of it, no big deal, maybe it will benefit another.
